Food and beverage market: a new and exciting cekom segment This internet presence was quite labor-intensive, beginning with the user oriented structuring of the website. Then the webdesign: Naturally an appropriate look & feel had to be derived from the product design and to be adapted for the web presence. Besides the obligatory informative part of concise and appealing information about the company and its product lines, addidional benefit was greatly emphasized. E-cards, menues and seat reservation cards for downloading have been lots of fun for our graphics department to design. A professional chef ran riot creating the recipes and catered for pleasant culinary surprises. There were two photo shootings for putting the recipes and decoration ideas on stage. Our styling pro couldn't be kept from even suggesting musical tips for the decoration. And for our texters it was a special challenge--and lots of fun--to design also the wording in an appetizing manner. Because of our easy to use content management system Laurin, customers can insert texts and pictures at any time, thus avoiding unnecessary frictional loss. Therefore changes which otherwise would have been laboriously transmitted by telephone and e-mail are completed in just a few minutes. The introductory animation (Flash) was contributed by another contractor on customer request. Bottom line: Food is fun--and our appetite is quickened! |
