| 2002-02-15Laurin XMP beta Cross-media is possible! And this yields significant reductions in the cost of creating documents for the Internet and for print applications. The XML-based LAURINXMP module supports the entering and the conversion of text and image data for simultaneous publication on websites and in high-end print. The revolutionary advantage over existing cross-media solutions: post-processing and page-proof checking can be performed using typical office software (MS Word® ). The print optimization which is indispensable in conventional typesetting programs (e.g. QuarkXPress® ) is no longer required. This leads to a significant reduction in costs. Fields of application:
