Product and Media Database for Johnson Controls
Johnson Controls, one of the worldwide leading and most innovative manufacturers of automotive interiors, chose cekom for designing, programming and implementing a web-based company-wide product and media database application based on Oracle.
Multi-language product data as well as images and videos are administered by an interface optimized according to usability aspects and are thus made accessible to Johnson Controls' employees. Efficient search algorithms make it possible to find the desired data quickly and reliably. The system also provides single and multiple product data sheets as dynamically generated PDF files on the fly. A multi-level authorisation system admits convenient editing of product data, easy administration of image and video files as well as tracking user activities.
